Part-Time Yard Staff Wanted

We are looking for a reliable and friendly person to join our lovely livery yard team.

Duties include:

* All usual yard duties
* General horse care and stable management

The ideal candidate must:

* Be confident and experienced around horses
* Be hardworking and reliable
* Enjoy working as part of a friendly team

Hours:
Sundays 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
More days/half days also available to cover holidays
Paid lunch hour included.

We went there today to celebrate Father’s Day. So lovely, so hospitable and even though they had a reduced food menu they were still able to cater to hubby’s allergies. Loved that all the food was cooked fresh too. Would highly recommend a visit and a follow. Congratulations Ryan Hayley Goodger🫶🏼

Two years of Mills Virtual Assistance.
And this week feels extra special.

It’s my birthday.
It’s my daughter’s birthday.
It’s World Book Day.
And she’s going as the word Resilient.
Which honestly couldn’t be more fitting.

When I started MVA, we had just moved back to England after years abroad. New area. No family nearby. A 5‑year‑old and a 1‑year‑old. Renting and moving three times in two years because we couldn’t get a mortgage after living overseas.
I was juggling childcare, nap times, and building a business from scratch. Some days I wondered if I should give up and go back to a PAYE job in London. Something “easier.” Something the mortgage lenders would prefer.
But it wouldn’t have been right for us.

So I kept going.

Slowly, things changed.

My business grew.
We finally got our mortgage and moved into what feels like our forever home.
I added work as an Independent Travel Agent and as an Event Manager for 
And I’ve learned so much about being my own boss along the way.

So having my daughter dress as Resilient this week feels perfect.
Because we’ve lived it.
We’re still living it.

Here’s to two years of MVA — and the next chapter. 💛✨📖
