Meet Mackenzie Wilkinson-Rouse, a recent LLB graduate making waves at Essex Law School. As Student Director of the University of Essex Law Clinic 2024-25, Mackenzie led with purpose - supporting peers, mentoring new students, and delivering real legal impact in the community.

From homelessness outreach to client interviews, Mackenzie’s journey shows how Essex blends theory with practice to shape future lawyers.

💬 “During my time at Essex, I have enjoyed the opportunity to truly be myself without feeling the need to conform to expectations. This has allowed me to build meaningful friendships and enjoy my university experience in a way I hadn’t in previous stages of my life.”
