After some well needed time out I am pleased to say that I will be available for work from January 2025. Recharged, rebooted and ready to go!

Its been a turbulent year in my personal life and the need for some peace and reflection was evident, I have been lucky enough to be able to take that much needed time out which I do not take for granted, it really is a gift and if you have the opportunity to take a break, I mean a really good break in which you can truly be with yourself, then my advice is DO IT. The chance might not come around again and you will only regret not taking it.

Its fair to say that since November 2023 my life has changed in every way possible, I have a new normal and I am feeling good.

For my clients, I am based in East Lancashire and now also flexible and able to travel and be away from home as required.

I will be reaching out to you all individually however I'd also really appreciate the power of social media in spreading the word that I am 'Available' for my next project, to help you with your HR needs, to help you achieve your 2025 and beyond goals or just tick some of those long overdue HR items off your to do list. If I can help, please get in touch and we can have a no obligation chat, maybe even a coffee.

It’s taken a little while to get to this point and now I’m so excited to share that emmahr will be back open for business from January 2024 👏🏻

After almost 3 years working in house as a Senior HR Partner for a large global organisation I am now ready to get back to my plan and pursue my dreams as an Independent HR Consultant.

I’ve been having some very exciting conversations with some really clever and inspirational likeminded people who I will be partnering up with, more details to follow.

For now I am working my notice period out until the end of the year but if you do want to connect with me about any potential HR work for 2024 that I can support you with then get in touch.

Successful day today relocating my office back into the Annexe for the summer. Feels good 👍 and I think Scooby agrees, he is already in his bed ready to listen to all the teams meetings 😊

Give yourself the permission to take some time off this Bank Holiday weekend.

Taking some time off of work is essential. It gives you the chance to focus on your health and happiness and when you do go back to work, you’ll feel refreshed and less stressed. So do yourself a favour, listen to your body ...... because if you don’t it sure will shout at you later.

How often have you heard ‘must work harder’.

Perhaps working smarter is better. Recognising that working harder doesn’t mean being more productive.

It’s all about the balance, if you can get your balance right then recognise that and make sure you maintain it as best you can.

If you’re an employer, support your employees to get their balance right too 🙂 and remember not everyones balance is the same!
