This one’s for you, Great Gran! Margaret — or Ma Magee as everyone knew you. You kicked off our family legacy back in 1946, and kept it going right up until you were 99 (and a half!).

You poured pints and laughter in a time when women were told to take a step back — but you stepped forward instead. You were the heartbeat of the place, and the reason I want to make something for myself today.

Here’s to you, Ma — I hope we’re doing you proud. ♥️
