A lot of print problems start long before anything goes to press. We often see artwork sent over with the wrong colour settings, low resolution images or missing bleed, which can affect the final result.
Before you send your file, run through this quick checklist:
1) Set colour mode to CMYK
2) Use high resolution images (300dpi)
3) Add bleed where needed
4) Keep important text away from edges
5) Check spelling and details carefully
6) Use the correct document size
7) Embed or outline fonts
8) Export as a print-ready PDF
9) Avoid using RGB or screen colours
10) Double check alignment and spacing
Getting these right helps avoid delays and ensures your print comes out exactly how you expect it to.
If you are unsure, we are always happy to take a look before printing!
