Its my wife’s fault! Just as she always has, she saw a need to distract me from troubling events and my own demons. Nearly dying from a car impact required something mad… So, here I am, about to take on my second season of Beekeeping! I started with one colony last April, grew to three, lost one to wasps, and (I think) will emerge into 2026 with two colonies. They’re strong and I’m hoping to start harvesting honey. My ambition is to grow my apiary to five hives in the summer. How insanely accomplished is that?!

Anyway, I figured there might be people beyond ‘local’ that might appreciate raw, completely natural honey. And, how it’s created by wonderful honey bees.

Hi all. My book is now open for this year’s Christmas orders. If you would like to place an order, please message me on this page so we can sort out payment arrangements in private.

You can pay in full now, deposit now and balance prior to shipping (50% each), or by 9 monthly instalments starting end of February. Shipping is by Special Delivery (UK). All details are included in the respective pictures attached. All items must be paid for by the end of October, and will be shipped around the end of November.

Every year, a young man from Swansea stands in front of my cabin and throws me a challenge… “can you make a carousel with moving horses?”… “can you make a helter skelter to go with my carousel?”… this year, “can you make an old Dickensian Toyshop lamp?”

Hi all. Happy New Year. It’s usually this time of year that I put up a post inviting people to place orders for my Christmas pieces. However, this year my wife and I are flying off to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary in a far away sunny place… So… the post will go out towards the end of February instead. Everything else remains the same, ‘pay monthly’ etc, except it’s a month later. And when I get back, I’ll be concentrating on an exciting new piece to add to the collection. See you soon. Paul ❤️

Rebuild complete front and back. This is the back (outside facing) which has been cemented and polished. I just need to turn her over tomorrow and cement and polish the front, then she’ll go off shiny as new to be encapsulated into a rather large double glazing unit. ❤️

Good evening everyone. Next week is going to be a very busy one. I will be starting the extensive restoration of this rather large panel, which could take some time, a lot of patience, probably some swearing, hourly coffee, and a very interesting book on audible. That’s how I roll.

I will also be revealing my new make for 2025 (no-one guessed what it is 😉), and opening my books for Christmas orders for the coming year.
