Recycling plastics is just as important as cardboard, food, glass and metal.
This prevents it from going into Landfill and taking anything from 20 to 500 years to decompose. None of our waste goes to landfill its all recycled in one way or another.

Our 50 tonne baler makes light work of baling plastic, today we made this, around the size of a large hay bale, ready for recycling;

6 plastic garden chairs, a 6 person plastic table, a four person plastic table, a large garden storage unit, 8 swivel chair bases, one broken wheelie bin and 8 tonne bags of small plastic items.

Furze Platt Road, if someone regognises this sofa it’s a perfect advertisement for not using a cheap waste service to dispose of your waste.

If you don’t pay the right amount to cover the proper cost of disposal this is what happens, it just gets fly tipped.

Legally whosever this is, it’s still yours ! so do the right thing and pay for a proper disposal service and hope you’ve not left something down the cushions that could trace it back to you.

We often hear of what people have paid for their disposal of items like this, and more often than not, it’s more than we charge, and our costs include 20% VAT paid to the government, 99% of others are not vat registered, don’t pay a staff bill every month, don’t have premises and are not zero to landfill.

So who’s really more expensive ?
