Congratulations to Marc Warnock and William McFarland at the Ulster Solos on Saturday.

Marc was placed 1st in Open Hornpipe & Jig. Marc plays a set of our Warnock pipes, Warnock 480 pipe chanter and Warnock pipe reed.

William was also placed 1st in C grade MSR and plays our Warnock 480 pipe chanter and Warnock pipe reed.

Well done boys!

Last week we travelled to Mühlhausen, Germany to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Kilts and More.
We have had the pleasure of being a supplier to Donald at Kiltsandmore for over 22 years.
We had the opportunity to meet some of Donald’s other leading suppliers, some of whom are valued customers of ours as well!

The precisely organised weekend came to a close on Saturday evening with a great recital by Fred Morrison.

Many thanks to Donald and Kilts and More for a great weekend and here’s to another 25 years!

Tributes have been paid to former Cookstown businessman and president of Tullylagan Pipe Band Jim Warnock, who has sadly passed away in his 106th year.

It is a sad day in the history of Tullylagan Pipe Band as we extend our deepest condolences to the Warnock family on the passing of our president Jim Warnock. Jim was ever-present throughout the history of Tullylagan Pipe Band and the Piping World, which has lost a man so instrumental in bringing Piping across the World to its present standard. We are very fortunate to have two of Jim’s great grandsons playing within our Grade 2 band at present and l know this gave him great happiness. One of life’s true gentleman who will be greatly missed but not forgotten. Stephen Swaile - Chairman, Tullylagan Pipe Band.
