I am an experienced painter and decorator with almost 20 years experience working in people's homes and on site. I also work for the CAN Partnership (can.org.uk) as part of the Education Training and Employment team teaching service users how to paint and wallpaper amongst other things with a view to future employment for them. I can arrange plastering, light carpentry such as door-hanging and lam

inate floor laying, tiling and more as my partner is qualified to do these. My personal specialty is wallpaper hanging but I love decorating in general! I am fully qualified with an NVQ II, CSCS card and I have an Enhanced CRB which I am happy to show if required

I took a day off from Center Parcs today to do a little papering (the brown papers and the purple paper is before) and a freshen up of the woodwork in a bedroom. The apprentice electrician made a mistake with the placement of a couple of sockets in 8 of the Centre Parcs lodges. Initially it was thought that the whole fireplace wall would need repapering (at a cost of £125 per roll plus labour) but I had a go at patching it in and we are pretty pleased with the result. I hope the electricians appreciate the money it has saved them!
