Hello sunshine! Beach clean tomorrow (Sun) with from 11:00.- 12:00
Love this time of year when the sea offoads it’s sand on our shores once again and we get beautiful turquoise waters.
I love to think of all the marine wildlife out there.
Trying to survive by finding food amongst the Rocky shorelines. But they are all having difficulty currently.
Many species are dangerously over fished in UK waters alone and still huge queues on Friday nights at the chippy. Breaks my heart.
It starts with our tastebuds and looks like it might end that way too!
Then I think of all the good people volunteering their time, money and lives to tidy up the sea bed and eating plant based alternatives.
There are a zillion different ways to enjoy and cook the alternatives for us ocean lovers.
Hats off to a global community of sea divers who scuba down to retrieve the discarded nets and fishing gear.
10% of sales go to this charity because they are truly doing incredible feats at their own cost. Volunteers willing to stop the cycle of unnecessary killing and toxins from these nets on the sea bed.
