📲 Free Digital Training Event For Local Businesses: I am running a day of digital training with Google for local small businesses on 10 March. It's completely free of charge, you don't have to be a tech whiz and you can learn at your own pace!

📣 Since I first became your MP in 2015, I have always championed our small local, and independent businesses however I can, and this event is a fantastic way of supporting them.

On the day we will be joined by Google Digital Trainers who will👇

🧑‍💻 Deliver in-person digital skills training & mentoring
📈 Share tips and tricks on how you can improve your digital marketing strategy
👩‍🎨 Run modules on topics like graphic design and effective social media techniques
🙋 Answer any tech questions you may have

The event will be taking place at the Business Cyber Centre in Chippenham - it's a fantastic venue which was made possible with £3.7 million of Government investment and opened last year.

Are you aged 18 – 30, running a small business or thinking of starting one in the next 6 months?

Wiltshire Community Foundation are working in partnership with the South West Enterprise Fund (SWEF) to provide business grants of £2,000 to young people aged between 18-30 in Wiltshire and Swindon.

As part of the programme, SWEF offers the opportunity
to join a network of peers who are also in the early stage of starting their business to share ideas, experiences and learn.

To be eligible to apply, you need to be:
• aged 18 to 30
• living in Wiltshire or Swindon
• planning to start your own business within the next 6 months or running your own business which has been trading for no more than 2 years
• without easy access to other sources of finance

Grants can be used towards capital items and running costs such as:
• stock, equipment or materials
• rent or business-related bills
