Keeping track of who is on site should always be based on accurate information and strong access control - not assumptions.
In busy commercial, corporate, or industrial environments, people may enter through reception, staff entrances, delivery points, or other restricted areas throughout the day.

Without clear access control, it becomes harder to know who has entered, why they are there, and where they are permitted to go.

Observed each year on 5 September, the International Day of Charity recognises the contribution that charitable and volunteering activities make to supporting people and strengthening communities.

At Samsic, supporting communities is not limited to one day. Throughout the year, colleagues across our business give their time, raise funds and support initiatives responding to local needs.

Our Charity Steering Group brings colleagues together to coordinate support for charities, schools and community organisations—from donating refurbished technology to fundraising and volunteering within local communities.

On International Day of Charity, we would like to thank every colleague who has contributed, as well as the clients, partners and community organisations that have made this work possible.

We're proud to share that Samsic UK ​has achieved carbon neutrality for Scope 1 & 2 emissions in 2025 🌱

This isn't something we've arrived at overnight. It's the result of real operational changes: electrifying our fleet, removing mains gas from our London office, and transitioning to 100% renewable electricity across our UK offices, combined with investment in two high-quality verified carbon offset projects, certified to the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS).

Our offsets support the Mataven Jungle Indigenous Guardianship Project in Colombia and the Reforesting Grasslands to Native Forest project in Uruguay, both independently audited and retired on a public registry.

We're transparent about the fact that achieving carbon neutrality is one step in a longer journey. We're continuing to build a clearer picture of our full emissions footprint, developing reduction targets we can genuinely stand behind, and working with our clients to help them understand the carbon impact of their own operations.

Sustainability isn't a badge. For us, it's a responsibility, to our people, our clients, and the communities across the UK where our 4,300+ colleagues work every day💚

Today is Financial Awareness Day—a reminder that financial wellbeing is an important part of our overall wellbeing.

Money worries can affect people’s confidence, health and peace of mind. At Samsic, we want our colleagues to be able to access practical support that helps them manage their money and respond to unexpected costs.

Through Stream, eligible colleagues can:

• Track their earnings throughout the month
• Access up to 40% of wages they have already earned
• Build regular savings
• Access tools to help them budget and manage their money

By making support easier to access, we’re helping colleagues feel more informed and in control of their day-to-day finances.

Financial wellbeing is personal, but nobody should feel they have to navigate it without support.

Surveillance footage is often reviewed after an incident has already happened. By then, the opportunity to act earlier has passed.

Active monitoring gives security teams real-time visibility of unusual activity, access issues, or behaviours that could escalate if left unchecked.

This results in better control, faster response, and clearer evidence of what happened, when it happened and how it was managed.
