Our client is a small multinational in an exciting area, expanding their business to the UK. They have currently a portal that offers products and services in two other countries (one of them is in English) and need your help to go over the UK version of their web store and adjust, add, remove and manage the range of products and services they will be offering to the UK market.
In this initial phase, you will be responsible to receive lists of products, with brands, codes, pictures, descriptions, retail prices, trade prices, shipping costs, and attributes (colors, sizes, add-ons, etc) to add to the web store. Many of the products will be listed already, but they might require to be updated. In other cases, a full range of products will be requested to be removed or disabled, once they will not be offered in the UK market.
You will need to have skills to understand web-based systems (online web store), product categorization, menu-based filters, keywords (SEO), product association, product attributes.
We will provide full training but it would advantageous for our candidater to have a previous understanding on how a web store works (Nop-Commerce is a plus). We would like someone that is a fast learner and will require little supervision. We do not require you to be a specialist on Nop-Commerce, only that you can understand how it works and be proficient unsing it. At all times, technical support and inputs can be requested directly to our consultant in "how-to" or "best way to", so we look for someone that will use their own initiative and have great attention to detail.
We estimate about 1500 to 2000 products to be included/updated. To start with we are looking for someone on a temporary basis of 10 weeks potentially turning into a permanent role. If you demonstrate proactivity and productivity during the job, we will invite you to keep the good work with us as there will be market campaigns, website configuration, promotions, updates, reports, and other sorts of work to be done on the platform, once this first phase is concluded.
If you read until here and feel this is something you would enjoy doing, we would be more than happy to hear from you, so, please, go ahead and apply for the position.
Thank you!
