The high speed spindle loads into the machine’s main spindle to turn any machine into a high speed machine.
Maintain even torque & constant high speed across the tool path at 25,000 to 90,000 rpm with power up to 1.4 hp.
Modulated air flow with spindle load for consistent low tolerance performance.
Results are revolutionary – constant high speed & torque under load at 2 micron precision delivers dramatically faster cycle times.
Air Turbine Spindles® patented direct drive turbine has only 2 moving parts, resulting in exceptionally low vibration & heat.
Constant airflow cools the ceramic bearings, resulting in no thermal expansion within the device.
With no high frequency brushes or gears to burn up, nor cumbersome control system, the spindle unit can deliver
constant operation & a full duty cycle.
The air powered spindle requires 90 PSI of shop air & can accelerate feed rates to over 7.5 metres per minute with any tool up to 6.5 mm.

Dyson, Unipart Group, JCB and Honda are all stepping up to the plate. They're taking part in a call with Boris today to talk about manufacturing the ventilators needed for .

Rolls Royce has also said it is 'keen to help'.

In a move reminiscent of the scrap metal scheme to build Spitfires, leading manufacturing companies such as JCB and Dyson have been asked to divert resources to building more ventilators.
