Today I failed. 😂

I went to an awesome Chamber speed networking event… and forgot to take any pictures! 😳

I was too busy chatting to everyone about my upcoming workshops, sharing ideas, hearing about what other business owners are working on, and having some really valuable conversations.

I had the pleasure of delivering my Refocus workshop to a fantastic group of engaged business owners.
Running a business can mean constantly being “busy”…..but busy doesn’t always mean moving in the right direction.

The session was all about stepping back, creating space to think, getting clear on what really matters, and turning that clarity into purposeful action.

Your biggest business problem might be that you’re too close to it.

When you’re buried in the day-to-day, you become the engine of the business.

But the more the business depends on you, the harder it becomes to see what needs to change.

Real breakthroughs often come from creating enough distance to ask the bigger questions:

🔻What should we stop doing?
🔻What are we missing?
🔻And what would the business look like if we weren’t constantly working inside it?

Growth doesn’t always come from doing more.
Sometimes, it comes from stepping back far enough to see what everyone else is too close to notice.

Work on the business.

Not just in it.

Come networking with me…

There’s something I really enjoy about meeting new business owners at networking events, hearing their stories, learning about what they do, and chatting about their plans for the future.

Today, I was at Chamber Networking at the beautiful hall hotel in Rugby, and what a stunning venue!

It’s a great reminder that networking isn’t just about exchanging business cards. It’s about making genuine connections, sharing ideas and discovering opportunities to support each other.
