STOP ✋before you ship that bulky item!

If you’re considering shipping larger items or those that are unusual in shape, please take a second to consider any extra charges applied by the carrier companies.

➡️ In the UK, if human intervention is needed due to an awkward shaped package, it will be deemed ‘ugly mail’ and you will likely need to pay more.

➡️ Similarly for international shipping, costs can be applied based on dimensions rather than the physical weight of your parcel, meaning you could incur a higher fee than you first realised.

That’s why it’s always worth considering the size and shape of your items, what you might put together as a bundle, or choosing what your products are shipped in carefully.

Some of the ways we’re currently committing to being as eco-friendly as possible are:

📦 Sourcing products that will be reusable like recycled drinks packaging

📦 Installing cardboard pick bins instead of plastic

📦 Investing in a larger cardboard pulping machine

📦 Working with local companies like clothing banks to ensure any leftover products can be reused or reconstituted into something else.
