Attic conversion we did for a client in warriston ,, new composite doors and a new roof at back , nice Cortizo hidden sash triple glazed window fitted to dormer s was lovely .. 🥰 cheers lads nice job 👍

Some great drone pics of our most recent roof replacement in Kinross , which started as a strip and reslate but has escalated a bit as we deal with some timber issues and save as many old scotch slate as we can . Some structure all the Joist are held together with timber pegs at the ridge also means the client gets some aerial pictures

Up fitting some steel clamps to a splitting main beam at Bankfoot after the client heard cracking noises , she wasn’t wrong some noise it made as we clamped it closed .
Thanks to Kelly’s engineering for the spot on job they fit like a glove .
This job looks better every time u visit it ..

Up at Bankfoot to meet the planning officer for the completion certificate for the attic conversion we formed now it’s complete , the client added in the attic conversion when the entire roof needed replaced it made sense to maximise the space .
we got Gregg at HLP partnership based in Musselburgh to come in meet the client and sort out the plans and permissions he made a tremendous job of the design and it shows now the client has finished off the internals ,, we think the finish is absolutely lovely .. that job went from a complete disaster to a stunning asset ..

New velux sk06 fitted for a client in gorebridge , Edinburgh to replace the lying light after the one of the panes of glass cracked , we removed the old lying light and lead work then fitted the new velux window and reslating the area . We also finished the internal s using white upvc to maximise the light . To say that hallway was warmer was an understatement as well as far more light in .. in the light ☀️

Another new slate roof in Spanish just completed for a client in Cowdenbeath to replace the old leaking welsh slate roof .
We removed all the old slates re nailing the sarking to the joist before repairing the vent holes , then fitting proctor roofsheild to maximise energy efficiency before reslating the area . We also renovated the cast iron gutters fitting new brackets and realigning them all before painting.
This roof comes With a 100 year guarantee on the slate . With very little
Future Maintenance required, built to withstand the wildest of Scottish weather.

Not our usual post but my mum asked for a slate a few Month ago & I had lots ,, she made this unique memento for my aunt Hillary to remember her mum and brother by , it’s now in South Africa . I think it’s a great use of a welsh slate and it’s never looked better . 👍

Some unique use of his old slate by one of our customers in Cowdenbeath he has a log burner & never let anything go to waste after his reslate , he came up with this idea to Recycle the slate & season his wood at the same to time and we think the combination is pretty stunning .
