One point currently separates the Cape 31 Arabella and the JPK 11.80 The Hawk - Sunrise 3 on the final day of racing. Niall & Olivia Dowling made a major effort to transport their boat from the UK to the Caribbean for the season and with a top crew (inc. Nick Rogers, a three-time Olympian and medalist in the 470) - their efforts look likely to pay off. We aren’t always working on race boats here at the Alpha Plus UK headquarters. The latest project is a custom launch boat. This 5M Thames river launch is being completely customised, with an alpha plus designed and made, one off specification and layout. It’s a nice change to be working with no drawings and lots of timber. We are looking forward to seeing this unique, personalised boat in action on the River Medina but for now here are some photos along the way...

Great to be out on the water again this weekend after a rather strange summer with no sailing.

Innuendo which was the first boat into the Alpha Plus workshop post lockdown for a few mods was placed second in this weekends Quarter Ton event while Per Elisa which the alpha plus boys put together last week for its first and only sail this year won 4 out of the 5 races on Sunday and therefore managed a 1st overall.
