We’re getting moving! 🙌

It was great to welcome Laura from Get Moving ABC to Oakleaf Forestry this morning as we take our first steps towards becoming a Get Moving ABC Workplace Partner.

The initiative is all about helping businesses encourage and support their teams to be more active, with access to a range of activities, programmes and opportunities designed around workplace health and wellbeing.

We’re delighted to get involved and are looking forward to seeing what we can bring to the Oakleaf team - and maybe introducing a little healthy competition along the way! 👀💪

Built here. Working where it matters. 🌲🚛

A few months ago, we shared this bespoke timber transport build for McMorrow Haulage as it left the Oakleaf workshop.

Now we’ve finally got the photo we were waiting for - fully loaded and earning its keep 🪵

Built around an Alucar Oy lightweight timber body, Kesla Finland 2212sT crane, Steelyard Peson wireless weighing system and ExTe bunks and bars, every part of this setup was chosen with one thing in mind: performance in real forestry work 💪🏼

Great to see the finished machine exactly where it belongs.

From workshop floor to working forest. That’s what it’s all about.

🔧 Oakleaf Forestry is now recruiting for an Apprentice for anyone planning to undertake the Level 2 Engineering (Fabrication & Welding) Apprenticeship at Southern Regional College.

This is an opportunity to learn your trade while gaining real, hands-on experience in our workshop here in Portadown - working alongside an experienced team and developing skills you can build a career around.

You don’t need to have it all figured out today. If engineering, welding or working with your hands sounds like something you’d enjoy, we’d love to hear from you.

With APF now firmly on the horizon, preparations are gathering pace 🌳

We’ll be sharing plenty over the coming weeks as we get machines, equipment and everything for our stand ready for September.
