Where should a startup spend its first pound on ads?

Between Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft and Amazon, it's easy to burn through your test budget before you've even learned what works.

Swipe through for a quick breakdown of all six: what each platform is actually good for, roughly what it costs in the UK right now, and how to get started without wasting your runway on the wrong one.

This isn't a full strategy — just a starting point for figuring out where to place your first bet. Save it for when you're ready. →

📢 Exciting news for CIDO Innovation Centre!

We're delighted to announce that Bloomin Delish Café will be opening its doors at CIDO Innovation Centre soon. ☕🥪

Their arrival will bring a fantastic new food and coffee offering for our tenants, visitors and wider community, creating another great reason to visit CIDO.

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to the Bloomin Delish team. We can't wait to see them become part of the CIDO community.

💜 EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT! 💜Welcome to the Bloomin Delish Cafe by Glorious Bakes! I just want to say how truly humbled and honoured Philip and I are by the incredible support that Glorious Bakes has received over the years. What started as a dream has been nurtured by so many wonderful people, and because of your encouragement, Bloomin Delish Café is no longer just a dream—it has become a reality.
We've stood shoulder to shoulder with fellow artisan makers at markets and shows, and we know the passion, hard work and long hours that every small business pours into what they do. We also know that without the love and loyalty of our supporters, none of us would have the chance to bloom.
That's why, here at Bloomin Delish Café, we're committed to stocking products from fellow local artisan businesses. Being rooted here in the CIDO Innovation Centre, at the heart of new businesses means so much to us. Community has always been at the centre of everything we do. If you know us you know that both Philip and I also dedicate our time to voluntary community work because we genuinely believe in giving back.
It's the kindness, encouragement and goodness of this community that has carried us this far. We hope that, in return, the goodness we put into every bake, every cup of coffee and every welcome at Bloomin Delish Café will continue to bring people together. Thank you for believing in us, for supporting local, and for helping us bloom. Here's to growing together!

Please share our thanks and invite others to follow Bloomin Delish Cafe as we get ready for our grand opening day this month!!
Love Meghan & Philip
