It's all about Trust.. Now this lovely chap has 1 or 3 issues, but the 1 thing he isn't a fan of is strangers.
His go to is ears back and a firm nip. However I have treated him a few times and he knows I am not a threat or danger and he really relaxed for his session. He is rather lovely when you get to know him 😍

With the weather either being cold or wet (or both) I spend alot of my time helping out hocks. With technology the application of heat is not only therapeutic for the horse, but it allows increased range of movement, thus allowing muscles to move more freely = Happy Horse =Happy Me 😊

Morning you lovely lot. So not only is it back to school for Peeps, it's back to school for Mr Brown.
After a lovely time doing alot of hacking this summer we have started to add some pilates back to his routine.
This simple fan exercise which starts off on the middle through the poles , work out to get a bigger stride(More stretch) , then work in for a smaller stride to get more flex through those joints. This exercise encourages the horse to keep a low head carriage, engage the abdominals, bring the back up and recruit those muscles 💪.
He and Ava did about 10mins in all then went out for a hack.
Use it or loose it ☺️
