Bit of a change to our week as our lovely kat was poorly! While she rested at home we made a few adjustments and soldiered on through.
We enjoyed looking amd learning about diwali In preperation for the celebration on the 8th nov. We dipped outside at all opportunities and enjoyed colours and mark making and made our own rangoli patterns with coloured rice .... the hoover earnt its money this week 😁

Last week was black history week, we did weaving and a few activitys based around influential historial figures. We enjoyed fruits from different countrys and finished the week with the sensory room there were lots of fine motor oppotunitys and recognition and practising writing our names

Oops behind again, so the week before last we looked at autumn and emotions, we did lots of fine, we enjoed walks and talked lots about or emotions and played games where we looked at other emotions.

Last week we focussed on dinosaurs, we enjoys lots of different acivitys inside and out and worked lots on building opportunities for independence into our routine.
This week we have been looking and talking lots about our emotions, we will continue it into next week as we wernt able to fit in all of our activitys.

Last week we looked at teeth!
We talked about teeth.
We brushed them after lunch each day!
We had tooth brushing activitys.
We practised our fine motor skills choping healthy foods after looking at healthy and unhealthy foods at a local shop.
We enjoyed toddler groups and parks also!
This week we are looking at dinosaurs! We have already enjoyed small world amd sensory activitys for a peek look out for next weeks post.

This week our focus was recycling!
We did lots or sorting activitys, we recycled some clothes taking them to the charity shop to be reused and we re used lots of things with junk modelling. We saw recycling trucks and talked about recyling and watched a video about how they sort our rubbish.
We also finished the week with a trip to the local park where we collected rubbish and put it in the bin

Next week our focus is our teeth and how we look after them

Weĺl true to form i have been terrible with these updates, but what havent we done over these last few weeks you may ask? I feel like we have been there, done that and got the t shirt .... i cant beleive this is only 3 weeks and a very small snippet.
Just incase you didnt know there has been a heat wave and we have found all the ways to keep cool. We have enjoyed parks and friends and sensory rooms and water play lots of enjoying the great outdoors .... i cant tell you how much i love watching these smalls grow.... we revisited activitys that we tried in april and seeing how far the children have come in physical abilities and in the confidence is amazing! I often get comments of how people couldnt do my job and they dont know how i do it but honestly not only do i have an amazing group of smalls but i also just love seeing where they started and where they have got to ... its the best!
Clocking out for a couple weeks to enjoy my own not so smalls

Well last week i was in the spanish sun so no update but the week previously we had a very busy week, we managed washbrooks farm, a local walk, a trip into town and the bus back which as bus trips go was not to traumatic! Lots was going on! It was also lovely to find such an accessible park for one on our smalls who gets about fantastically but is not quite walking yet
