Another Dyson saved from the bin! ✅

DC39 came in with no power at all.
Diagnostic process:

Fuse checked → fine

Switch checked → fine

Motor removed & bench tested → failed

Tried fitting new carbon brushes, but quickly discovered catastrophic motor failure — it was a serious fire hazard.

I swapped in a genuine Dyson motor from a donor machine and it’s now running strong and safely again.

Great to catch that one before it became dangerous! 💪

First proper 3D printed vacuum part is DONE! 🔥

End cap for a Dyson V10 brush bar head.

Printed it, test fitted it… and it’s bang on. Snug fit, clicks in perfectly, works exactly as it should.

No more waiting weeks for parts that cost stupid money or “aren’t available anymore”. We can just print them.

We pulled enough hair out of this floor head to make a wig 😂

Dyson DC41 back from the dead today! 🔥

Customer brought it in with no suction at all — turned out the internal hose had split and there was some damaged plastic as well.

I stripped it right down, replaced the split hose and damaged parts with genuine Dyson bits from a donor machine, gave it a full complementary clean and health check… and it’s now running like brand new again 💪

Ready for collection tomorrow — another happy customer!
