be the wall covered in boxes of FREE STUFF.

We’re a very eco conscious bunch in Crewe & Nantwich aren’t we. As a GenX, Womble fan, it’s no wonder I gravitated to this neck of the woods.
But with so much freecycling going on, it’s no wonder there’s confusion, especially if you’re new to the area.
So here’s a quick guide -

The Freebie Wall - Hello, that’s me. Freecycle Project, run from home. Think of it as a yard sale, without the sale.

These are ALL FreeSite Facebook Groups, where anyone in the community can join & regift items they no longer need. But you communicate with the individual gifter regarding how you go about collecting the item(s).

So what’s my point?

Well, it’s easy to get confused if you don’t know. You might mention to a friend that you have to collect something to collect from a freesite & that friend might say,
“Oh, that’ll probably be the Freebie Wall. It’s opposite the school site.”
& the gifter may have sent you the collection address, but because you didn’t realise, you headed over to me & the gifter now assumes that you’re a timewaster & offers your item to someone else.

So hopefully this helps.
Listen, it happens more than you think. I was confused with Reuse again this morning….quite flattering if I’m honest. 🤭
