Lovely little Hummingbird Hawk Moth (Macroglossum stellatarum) on a survey today...feeding on the nectar of Red Valerian. Macroglossum stellatarum). Seems to have been a bumper year for moths and butterflies on surveys due to the prolonged warm summer.

We have been a bit quiet on here over the last few months with just no time to get stuff on the page. Over the next week or so we hope to get some info up on the projects we have been working on.

Today, we had the privilege of conducting a bat survey in one of Wales' historic castles as part of a listed building consent for a large re-roofing project. It was a truly unique and inspiring setting, and makes for an excellent location for international students to study.

This week, our team is conducting ecological supervision work on a small development site in Aberporth. Although it may be unfortunate to witness the removal of a hedge, it's crucial that the work is executed at the appropriate time of year and in a responsible and sensitive manner.
