We had our yearly audit from a few weeks ago to make sure that are logs are being dried and stored correctly 🪵 We passed with flying colours! 🔥

When buying logs of less than 2m3 make sure they are Woodsure certified and display their Read To Burn logo, like ours in the picture.

THE IMPORTANCE OF BUYING READY TO BURN CERTIFIED LOGS 🔥🪵

Are you aware of the current legislation in place which states that wood sold in volumes of up to 2m3 have to be Ready To Burn certified? This means that the wood is suitable for immediate use as it has been dried to less than 20% moisture.

This law is in place to help reduce pollution and improve air quality and is backed by DEFRA.

Please when purchasing logs in volumes less than 2m3, make sure your supplier is Ready To Burn certified. Suppliers can be found on the ready to burn website and most promote their certification logo, like ours in this post 🔥

Suppliers that advertise their logs as dried to less than 20% moisture, but are NOT Ready To Burn certified, are not selling their logs under current legislation.
