Just a quick update to the current situation…
After me telling a lot of customers that I had planned to have a gentle return to work… some will have noticed that it has still been dark in the studio…. My body decided that I wasn’t fit enough to go back to work yet and I ended up checking back into hospital on Monday night… hopefully only a very short setback and I will be back in work before too long.. apologies to anyone who ventured out to come to Elite Framing this week to still find the doors locked.. I will be back to work as quickly as I possibly can

It has been brought to my attention that there is a rumour has been started that I have closed my business… I want to reassure my faithful clients and friends that this rumour is completely untrue…. I have been closed for the past few weeks due to being in hospital receiving surgery and treatment for cancer. I had chosen to keep the details to myself and family and close friends but I would now like to debunk the rumour mill and assure everyone that I could not be further from closing my business.. I love what I do and have a great deal of pride in being able to please my customers with the work that I do and I promise faithfully that I WILL BE BACK…. Hopefully very soon… watch this space for details of when I will be available again

Bit of a special job I had been working on, commissioned by The Scots College in Sydney. A piece of pipe and drum music which was written by a year 11 student to be presented to HRH King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Not many photographs were allowed to be made public, but very pleased to hear that KCIII commented on my framing work for this piece. Safely installed in Balmoral Castle now where I hope it will be enjoyed for many years to come

It is with a very heavy heart that I write to let people know that I had to make the decision today to let Paisley make her final journey. As many of you will already be aware, Paisley was diagnosed with an aggressive soft tissue sarcoma just before Christmas which unfortunately over the past few weeks has taken its toll on her and she just didn’t have the strength to carry on.. She was very peaceful at the end and as ever she was happy to see everyone.. I will miss my sidekick greatly but I know it was my last act of kindness for her and I am absolutely blessed that she came into my life almost 9 years ago… obviously I am immensely heart broken and I ask that people can be mindful of how raw this is for me and I am posting this on my page to avoid people feeling bad asking after her and me being upset and having to explain that she is no longer with me.

Something spooky going on at Elite Framing today.. I will be open a bit later today welcoming trick or treater into the studio… unfortunately paisley has flown off on her broomstick but happy to see all the cool costumes and listen to a few jokes/tricks with lots of treats available
