A great local project to support 🌱

We recently provided skip support for The Lakes School Windermere UK as they begin developing a new tree nursery and conservation area on their grounds.

The project, supported by the Cumbria Wildlife Trust and The Tree Council, will help students gain practical horticulture skills while contributing towards wider tree planting and rewilding work across Skiddaw.

Today, our team had the absolute pleasure of visiting the brilliant pupils at Upperby Primary School to talk about the importance of recycling and the impact it has on our planet.

The timing couldn't have been better - the children are already covering recycling in their lessons, and it showed! The questions came thick and fast, the enthusiasm was infectious, and we were seriously impressed by how much they already knew.

Full marks all round for identifying the right waste for the right bin - these kids are already ahead of the game!
