In the early hours of this morning, we were burgled again for the second time in 2023. This time, the difference was the quality of our security system, thanks to G and A Security.

The police were already en route to the club before a brick was thrown through the window, and the security lights and siren made them panic. They did a quick sn**ch of a couple of bottles of spirits and prised open the till for a handful of coins, thankfully, that is all they took!

By the time we arrived, the police had a drone up scanning the area for them; judging by the police time of arrival, they only missed them by a few minutes. With a bit of luck, we will have some lovely clear images for the police when the proper security footage is downloaded.

Previous break-ins have ranged from 5k damage to them burning the place down. We cannot thank enough.

In addition, response was terrific; the responding officers were fantastic and nearly caught the culprits.

We were proud sponsors of Darlington Rugby Football Club putting a team forward for the International Krasiko Beach Rugby 5’s Tournament 2022, held over in Burgas, Bulgaria at the weekend.

We were also able to watch the team play live on Sportlane TV in blistering heat ☀️

Security isn’t just about frontline SIA workers, we also need those behind the scenes.

We are talking about the diverse roles available within our sector.
