🚧 SITE UPDATE: Getting stuck in at the local railway station! 🚆

We are currently on-site working through a massive commercial strip-out at a local train station, preparing the building for its upcoming refurbishment. There is a lot to get through, but the lads are making excellent progress.

Here is what we are currently tackling on this job:

🧹 Surface Strip-out: Lifting and removing all the old floor coverings.

🚽 Facilities Removal: Carefully taking out the WCs and fully dismantling the old kitchen units.

🎫 Ticket Office: Removing the old worktops and fittings in the main ticket office.

🧱 Wall Prep: Scraping back the walls and safely removing all the old, loose plaster.

🪵 Heavy Lifting: Taking down timber stud work, lifting floorboards, and removing the old floor joists to take the space right back to the shell.

Commercial strip-outs require a methodical approach, especially in public buildings, and the team is smashing it. We'll be sure to post some photos once the space is completely cleared!

🚧 Tricky access? Restricted spaces? No problem for our team. 🚧

We’ve just wrapped up a brilliant job removing a massive old window from the Dover Castle War Tunnels. 🏰

Because of the historic location, we couldn't just drag it out. The team carefully cut the unit down into manageable sections, before wheelbarrowing the lot manually up the hill through the tunnels straight into our skip at the top. Safe, clean, and zero damage to the surroundings!

🏟️ Out with the old at an iconic sporting venue! 🚧

We’ve just wrapped up a great project at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, carrying out the complete demolition and removal of two redundant ticket offices.

When you're working on a busy, high-profile site, efficiency and safety are everything. Here is how the team tackled this one:

🤝 The Best of Both: We used a strategic mixture of careful hand demolition alongside heavy-duty mechanical demolition to bring the structures down safely and efficiently.

🗑️ Smart Sorting: We don't just knock things down; we sort them out properly. All the rubbish was strictly segregated on-site as we worked.

♻️ Recycling First: All the old brickwork and hardcore was loaded straight into our skips and sent off to the recycling centre to be crushed and repurposed, keeping our environmental footprint to a minimum! 🧱

The site has been left spotless and ready for whatever comes next. Massive well done to the team for another cracking job! 👏

🚧 Another site clearance successfully completed! 🚧

We recently wrapped up a comprehensive demolition project, taking the site from start to a secure, clean finish exactly how the client wanted it.

Here’s a breakdown of what the team tackled on this job:

🏗️ Demolition: Safely took down 8 garages and their associated outbuildings.

🦺 Asbestos Removal: Safely handled and disposed of all non-notifiable asbestos on site.

💧 Groundworks: Complete removal of the old drainage systems.

♻️ Eco-Friendly Clearance: We utilised grab lorries to quickly and efficiently clear all arisings, sending the waste straight to a recycling company to keep our environmental impact to a minimum! 🚛

🤺 The Perfect Finish: To leave the site secure and looking the part, we contracted a fantastic local fencing company to put up a brand-new fence to finish the job, just as the client asked.

We pride ourselves on offering a complete, hassle-free service from the first swing of the sledgehammer right through to the final tidy-up. The client was absolutely over the moon with the result, and so are we! 🤝
