This Easter, we had a very special visitor hopping around the community… our very own Cherish Easter Bunny! 🐣💛

One of our wonderful team members donned the bunny ears and set out to spread a little extra joy, delivering Easter eggs and smiles to our lovely clients. It was truly heartwarming to see so many happy faces and share such special moments together.

At Cherish, it’s the little things that mean the most – and we’re so proud to bring happiness, laughter, and care into the lives of those we support every day.

Yesterday staff at Cherish joined in with a sponsored walk around dovestones with one of our clients who suffers from PSP to raise money for the PSPA.

As you can see from the photos everyone who took part had a great day and raised money for a well deserved charity.

What is PSP?

PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) is a rare, progressive neurological brain disorder that causes increasing problems with balance, eye movement, speech, swallowing, and thinking. Caused by the progressive accumulation of the tau protein in brain cells, there is no known cure, so treatment focuses on managing symptoms through therapies and medications. Early symptoms can overlap with Parkinson's disease, but PSP is often characterized by frequent falls backward and specific issues with eye movement, especially vertical movement.

The PSPA are the only UK charity dedicated to supporting people living with PSP and CBD, ensuring they receive coordinated and compassionate care.
