AI is becoming part of everyday business life whether we like it or not.
For some things, it’s an absolute gamechanger, saving time, energy and effort.
But one thing I don’t think gets talked about enough is that AI still needs human understanding behind it.
I’m often asked whether AI could do what I do, and I’m sure one day in the future that may be the case, but I think we’re still a long way off.
Software can generate and process huge amounts of data, but it can’t always understand context, nuance, or what’s hidden between the lines.
It can make suggestions based on the past data it’s learned from, but it can’t strategise what is right for an individual business moving forward.
The businesses getting the best results right now aren’t replacing people completely. Instead, they’re finding a balance between using technology for productivity and human expertise.
So let me know in the comments… what’s your opinion on AI in business at the moment? Helpful tool, or more headache than it’s worth?
