Well… Melbourne Arts Festival, you have officially finished me off!
After weeks of making, preparing and getting everything ready, followed by lugging display boxes around, setting everything up, standing for pretty much the entire two days and talking to many lovely people… I am now officially IN BED!
Saturday was particularly eventful with 40mph winds and a gazebo! Thanks to those of you who helped hold it down! I can safely say today though...the wind has well and truly been taken out of my sails!
It was so lovely to see so many familiar faces, meet lots of new ones and have a proper chat with everyone who stopped by Kj Glass. Thank you so much to everyone who came to see me, bought something, said hello or simply stopped for a natter.. I genuinely loved seeing you all.
A special thank you to those lovely friends who kept me going with little gifts throughout the weekend… ☕ and, ahem, other varieties of liquid refreshment. You know who you are!
Those of you who know me well will appreciate just how rare it is for me to admit defeat… but I have even cancelled today's music lessons. 😳 So yes. PROPER poorly. Today is therefore officially a Kj Glass DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING DAY!
Thank you to It was exhausting, apparently slightly lethal 🤣...but worth it.
Now, if anyone needs me… they don't. 😂
