Heinz rolls out ketchup ‘Love Lid’ for everyone from the casual to the obsessed

Ask five people how much ketchup belongs on fries and you'll probably get five different answers. Heinz has decided not to settle the debate, but to build a bottle cap that caters to every camp instead. It lets eaters choose between “Like,” “Love,” and “Crazy Love,” depending on how committed they are to the squeeze.

The limited-edition Love Lid is designed to control how much ketchup comes out of the bottle. Each setting corresponds to a different opening size, from a lighter stream to a much heavier pour, giving users more say over whether their fries get a modest drizzle or their burger disappears under a red blanket.
