The concrete factory floor in Norfolk was worn and dusting, with exposed aggregates and cracking visible across the surface. As part of the installation of new equipment, a durable and easy to clean epoxy resin flooring system was required to provide a hard-wearing industrial floor finish.

A glass fused to steel effluent tank in Buckinghamshire was experiencing significant leakage due to corrosion and perforations within the gas space. Temporary patch repairs had been attempted previously, but the client required a long-term industrial tank lining solution that would ensure full containment and protect the structure against further degradation. An end of service life pressure vessel gets a new protective coating system. We applied a high build solvent free polyurethane coating.

The existing protective coatings on the pressure vessel had reached the end of their service life, resulting in visible pitting, laminate corrosion and reduced long-term corrosion protection.
Because the vessel is in an area with active chemical processes, the steelwork had become contaminated with chemical salts, increasing environmental corrosivity and accelerating deterioration.

To maintain safe operation and prevent further structural degradation, the client required a complete replacement industrial protective coating system engineered for harsh, high-corrosivity environments. READ THE FULL CASE STUDY BELOW

The new aquaculture farm had 10 pre cast concrete tanks that required a polyurea tank lining in order to provide protection to the fish that would be contained within them. We proposed the application of a WRAS approved polyurea from VIP Coatings. Find out more https://www.corrolesseastern.co.uk/polyurea-aquaculture-tank-linings-scotland/

Upon opening the anaerobic digester to remove grit our client found that the existing tank lining was in a very poor condition, with extensive blistering and breaks that had allowed the concrete to be attacked and degraded because of exposure to hydrogen sulphide/biogenic sulphuric acid.

The new Braithwaite sectional tank required a lining suitable for immersion in 60 Degree Centigrade demineralised water. The tank externals also required a suitable protective coating.

The originally applied protective coating/screed to the tank base has largely failed. Anecdotally this was thought to be as a result of lack of surface preparation prior to tank lining application.
