Hybrid working requests can become more common during the summer, even when the request is only temporary. βοΈ ποΈ
While employees do not have an automatic right to work remotely, they do have a statutory right to request flexible working. Employers should deal with these requests fairly, in line with their own policy and the relevant process.
If the request can be supported, be clear on expectations. If it cannot, explain the business reason clearly.
