First of my seaside theme workshops for the summer months at flowerfieldarts was this wonder Coral Bowl one last weekend. Fully booked with an amazing group of ladies who have all created the most wonderful colour combinations and forms. These have been melted flat and I have returned today to assemble them into the mould shapes. Excited for Friday to see the end bowl results.

I was invited to a new venue last weekend to host my fused glass workshops. The children in the morning created a pair of fused glass puffin sun catchers. Thank you to for allowing me to share my glass making skills with the children.

✨️𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩, 𝙂𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙖🌊

Delighted to be asked this year again to facilitate fused glass workshops with the Primary 7 children from both St. Colum's Primary and Portstewart Primary as part of their shared education experience. The theme for the children was their stunning location and they were asked to create beautiful glass suncatchers, inspired by the sea, sky, and ever-changing light of Portstewart. Together, they celebrate creativity, place, and the simple joy of catching light, offering a bright and hopeful view of Portstewart through young eyes.

Thanks to Flowerfield Arts Centre for hosting the exhibition for a month for the children. The exhibition runs until 16th May so lots of time to pop in and see these stunning pieces.😀
