Community & Voluntary groups and Social Enterprises across the North West have a vital role to play in delivering social value through future public sector-led projects, including City Deal developments, university expansion and other major investments across the region.

During September and October, we will be delivering the 2nd cohort of our series, which will support local social enterprises to strengthen how they communicate their purpose, impact and value to the people and organisations they need to reach; from communities and funders to stakeholders, partners and private contractors.

🗣️ 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝟭: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆

Date & Time: Thursday 10th September 2026 | 10:00 - 13:00
Venue: The Enterprise Hub, North West Business Complex

▶️ The Focus: Take a step back to look at the bigger picture. Explore who you need to reach, what you need to say, and how a clear strategy builds trust and visibility.
▶️ What we’ll cover: Understanding key audiences, clarifying your organisational message, separating strategy from day-to-day tasks, and identifying communication challenges.

🛠️ Output: You will begin developing a practical outline communication strategy for your organisation.

💼 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝟮: 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲

Date & Time: Thursday 1st October 2026 | 10:00 - 13:00
Venue: The Enterprise Hub, North West Business Complex

▶️ The Focus: Translate your work, impact, and community value into a clear proposition for contractors and procurement opportunities. With social value now vital for public sector procurement, you need to show the unique added value you bring to supply chains.
▶️ What we’ll cover: Understanding social value in procurement, identifying your social value offer, communicating with private contractors, and spotting partnership opportunities within major contracts.

🛠️ Output: You will draft a social value proposition document to use directly in conversations with partners and stakeholders.

💡 Participant Outcomes
By the end of the two sessions, you will walk away with:
• A clearer understanding of your audiences and key messages.
• A practical, ready-to-use outline communication strategy.
• A stronger, more confident way to talk about your organisation’s value.

Both sessions will be in-person. To register your place today, email [email protected]

Spaces are limited, with attendance at 1st session required to attend the 2nd session.
