A special thank you to Mark Kearns and the PEACEPLUS PRISM team at the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC), Queen's University Belfast, for hosting the PRISM partners at the impressive new AMIC 'Factory of the Future' in Newtownabbey.

It was inspiring to see first-hand the world-class facilities and innovation opportunities within the centre, while also connecting with project partners to share progress and discuss the exciting developments ahead.

A fantastic day for our Foodovation team at the Balmoral Show on Wednesday, spending time in the NI Food & Drink Pavilion and seeing first-hand the innovation happening across the local food industry.

It was great to see Northern Irish food and drink businesses combining:

✅ Premium retail-ready packaging
✅ Sustainability-focused design
✅ And genuine local identity to create brands that feel both modern and rooted in place.

From artisan producers to export-ready challenger brands, the quality and ambition across the pavilion was incredibly strong.

Events like the Balmoral Show continue to highlight the creativity, resilience, and growth of the local food sector — and why Northern Ireland has such a strong reputation for food innovation.
