Last night we attended the launch of our friend Andrew Ziminski's new book "Church Going, a Stonemason's Guide to the Churches of the British Isles", available in all good bookshops. Likely something we can all relate to. Andrew & Clare visited Imber & helped greatly with the dating of the frieze and is featured within the book. Ta fella 😉. https://in-a-different-light.co.uk/publications/

Many tributes this morning to the late Professor Tim Darvill. Very privileged to have his company when we recorded the Kenward Stone, Chute. Generous with his time & knowledge we had a relaxing walk through the local landscape after & he was very complimentary on our photograpy. Condolences to family, friends & colleagues. I hope you all enjoyed the Band of Brothers documentary by Time Team on YouTube? It’s still proving popular so do go and watch it if you haven’t seen it yet. The work of the project to look at the lives of those young Americans inspired the musician Gaz Brookfield so much that he has written an incredibly moving track about the Arborglyphs- our tree carvings. Listen to it on Spotify and check out his other work. It’s lovely that our project has such facets. https://spotify.link/GyEtIKTkzDb
