🐦 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐯𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐲! 🐦

Here is a picture of one of two five-week-old Cockatiels that our Park Wardens have been carefully rearing.

We were delighted to discover that a couple of our adopted Cockatiels have successfully bred for the first time in many years. Over the past few weeks, our Park Wardens have been closely monitoring the health and development of the new arrivals.

Unfortunately, we noticed that the young birds were beginning to struggle while integrating with the other birds in the Aviary. Our Park Wardens stepped in and took the necessary steps to separate them from the flock, providing them with additional care and hand-feeding them for two weeks to help them regain their strength.

We are pleased to say that both young Cockatiels have now been successfully returned to the Aviary. 🐦❤️

We will continue to monitor their health and progress closely over the coming weeks. Hopefully, they will continue to grow stronger and become happy and healthy members of the flock.

A big thank you to our Park Wardens for the care and dedication they have given these little newcomers! 🌿🐦

We had a fantastic evening, and thankfully the weather was on our side this year! It was brilliant to see everyone coming together to enjoy the film under the stars.

A big thank you to all of our staff, volunteers, traders, Fantasy Radio and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the evening happen. And, of course, thank you to everyone who came along and supported us!

We think Rexxy and Rory had a pretty wild evening too! 🦖😂

Twilight Cinema is tomorrow and we’re getting very excited to welcome you all to Hillworth Park for a special evening under the stars, with Jurassic Park on the big screen.

And the good news is that it’s looking like we’re in for a dry evening, which is perfect weather for the screening.

There’ll be plenty happening before the film starts too. Fantasy Radio will be joining us for some pre-show entertainment, and you never know… if you keep an eye out, there may even be a couple of dinosaurs roaming the parklands.

Anya at the Park Cafe will be serving burgers and hotdogs from the BBQ, along with sweet treats including fresh popcorn, ice cream and speciality lattes.

Jefferson’s Sweets will also be joining us, alongside Freddy’s Bar and Muck & Dunder Rum Bar, so there’ll be plenty to eat, drink and enjoy while you get settled.

Gates open at 7pm. If you haven’t got your tickets yet, there’s still time.
