Our 1st Birthday Meeting is happening on Friday 13th November, and it’s shaping up to be a brilliant morning meeting! 🎂🎉

We’ve got a fantastic group of visitors already booked in… but we’ve noticed something.

🥚 Another brilliant Friday morning with our EGGS business family!

We had a great meeting at The Park Hotel this morning and were delighted to welcome our guest Craig Bennett from Poppy Consulting Services, who provides HR, management coaching and training support to businesses across our area. 👥

Our 10-minute presentation came from new member Ashley at AR Smart Tech Solutions – and it was a real eye-opener! 💻

Ashley talked about just how much time business owners can lose to admin. He shared an estimate of around 11 hours a week – the equivalent of 12 working weeks a year!

So what if technology could give you back just 25% of that time? That's potentially three extra weeks a year to spend growing your business, looking after customers – or simply doing something other than admin!

Ashley creates bespoke apps for businesses that can help manage data, streamline processes and bring owners, managers, teams and customers together in one place.

He's already been working with the EGGS team on an app for our members, as well as fellow member Perdee from C&H Cleaning Company , creating a bespoke solution to help manage diaries, rotas, bookings and finances.

And the timing couldn't be better… next Friday it's Perdee's turn to give our 10-minute presentation, and she'll be showing us the app in action alongside telling us more about her business. 👏

We also heard from Mark, a volunteer with East Anglian Air Ambulance Charity, about our special EGGS birthday meeting on Friday 13th November. 🎂 We already have more than 13 visitors from businesses across Norfolk and Suffolk joining us!

Fancy coming along too?

We're a friendly, not-for-profit networking group. No hard sell – just local businesses getting to know each other, sharing ideas and building genuine connections.

📅 Join us on 13th November – or come and meet us any Friday!
Drop us a message and we'll tell you more. 🥚

🎉🥚 ONE YEAR OF EGGS – FANCY JOINING US FOR THE NEXT ONE?

It’s almost a year since a group of local business owners got together to create something a little different.

A networking group where business matters – but people matter too.
One year later, EGGS has become a genuine business family. We share referrals and opportunities, recommend each other, celebrate the wins and offer advice and support when business gets challenging.

And on Friday 13th November, we’re celebrating our 1st birthday! 🎂

We’d love some new faces to join us for the morning.

If you own or represent a local business, come along and:
☕ Grab a coffee
👋 Meet some great local business owners
💬 Tell us what you do
🤝 Make some useful connections
😊 Have a laugh along the way

No hard sell. No awkward pressure. Just friendly local networking and good people doing business together.

📩 Drop us a message if you’d like to come along and celebrate with us.

🎄 URGENT: We Need Your Help This Christmas! 🎄

Can you spare just 90 minutes to help local people facing hardship this winter?

We're recruiting volunteers, community groups, churches, clubs, charities and local businesses to support our Tesco Christmas Food Collection on 26th, 27th and 28th November.

Every year, thousands of items are donated by generous shoppers, but without volunteers at the store entrance or by the donation point to thank people, those vital donations simply don't happen. With demand for foodbank support remaining high, this collection will play a crucial role in keeping our warehouse stocked throughout the winter months.

❤️ Your time could help provide food and support for families struggling to make ends meet.
❤️ Your group could make a real difference to hundreds of local people.
❤️ Your business could give back to the community in a practical and meaningful way.

We need volunteers NOW. Shifts will fill up quite quickly, but there are still opportunities available at Tesco Beccles and Tesco Diss.

📧 Email [email protected] today to book your place or find out more.

👉 Please don't scroll past. If you can't volunteer yourself, share this post and help us find someone who can.

Together, we can make sure no one in our community goes hungry this Christmas.

👇 See our Poster for details and tag a friend, colleague, community group or business that could help!

🥚 Another great EGGS Networking meeting at The Park Hotel this morning!

It was lovely to welcome several visitors to the group, and Mark and Colin also reminded us that our 1st birthday celebration is coming up on Friday 13th November – yes, Friday the 13th! 🎂😬

🔧 This week it was Joey from Spalls Garage giving us an insight into the world of mechanics – and particularly the potentially expensive world of wet belts!

The Wet Belt… who knew?!

Apart from those of us who have unfortunately learnt the hard way, who knew just how much trouble one fairly unremarkable-looking piece of rubber can cause!

Joey explained why you shouldn't necessarily wait for the recommended mileage before having a wet belt checked. They can deteriorate earlier than expected, with debris potentially causing engine problems – or, in the worst case, complete failure and a very expensive repair bill. 💷

While Joey has a particular passion for Land Rovers, he also enjoys tackling the jobs some garages would rather avoid:
🔧 Wet belts
⚙️ Cam belts & cam chains
🚗 Brakes & suspension
🛠️ Injectors

So if you've got a troublesome vehicle, an awkward job or simply need a service, have a chat with Joey at .

Our member presentations are a great part of EGGS. We get to understand more about each other's businesses, learn from their experiences – and occasionally get a reminder about something we really ought to get sorted ourselves! 😬

If you'd like to be part of a friendly, supportive group of local business owners, we'd love to hear from you. Drop us a message! 🥚
