🔐 Ongoing Security Project | Luton Cricket Pitches 🔐

Another project progressing well for the Optimum team, this time at Luton Cricket Pitches.

We’re installing a combination of:
📹 Hikvision CCTV
🔐 Paxton Net2 Access Control
🚨 Texecom Intruder Alarm

Bringing the three systems together gives the site better visibility, more control over access and added protection when the premises are unattended.

If you’re looking to improve security at your site or premises, get in touch with the team.

🔥 Taking over an existing fire or security system can sometimes uncover more than expected. When we begin looking after an existing system, some of the most common issues we come across include:

📄 Missing or incomplete documentation
🗂️ No clear device or maintenance history
🔋 Ageing or expired batteries
⚠️ Disabled zones
🏷️ Unlabelled circuits
🔐 Old access credentials still active

None of these necessarily mean the whole system needs replacing, but they can make maintenance, fault finding and ongoing management much more difficult.

A proper system takeover gives you a much clearer picture of what is installed, what condition it is in and what needs attention going forward.

At Optimum Fire & Security, we can assess existing systems, identify any issues and put the right maintenance and support in place.

Read more about the common issues we find when taking over existing fire and security systems in our latest blog post:

We’ve made a start on another commercial project, this time at a fantastic office development in Manchester.

Our team has begun stripping out the existing fire alarm system, getting everything ready for the main project works to begin in the new year.

It’s an important first stage of the job and gives us a clean foundation for the new fire alarm installation to follow.
