Go Green Ireland helps businesses across the Republic of Ireland translate sustainability commitments into practical action and provable results.

Ireland’s recycling rates remain under pressure, not because of a lack of ambition, but because recycling performance is often hard to manage, measure and evidence at scale.

For organisations operating across multiple sites, the solution lies in structured waste strategies, consistent service delivery and reporting designed for audit‑readiness.

Go Green Ireland is here to simplify recycling management today, while providing the evidence needed for tomorrow’s audits, reporting and ESG disclosures.

World Environment Day may have taken place a few days ago, but its message and theme, , remains as important every day.

Climate action isn’t just a global ambition, it’s shaped by the everyday decisions businesses make. From improving recycling performance to reducing contamination and diverting waste from landfill, small operational changes can drive meaningful environmental impact.

At Go Green, we’re proud to support customers in turning environmental responsibility into practical action. And with Great Big Green Week kicking off today, it’s the perfect opportunity to build on that momentum and keep the focus on positive, climate‑led change.

Our latest case study with UC Build shows how a practical, data-led waste strategy supported circa 99% diversion from landfill, while still keeping site operations simple and efficient. Delivering high diversion from landfill across live construction sites isn’t always straightforward, but with the right approach, it’s achievable.

Led by our Key Account Manager, Samantha Wild, this collaboration brought together tailored skip solutions, transparent reporting and post-collection segregation to deliver measurable environmental outcomes.

It’s a great example of how strong partnerships and dedicated account management can drive real, on-the-ground impact.

Recently, Simon Arnold, a member of our Social Value team, visited Greenacre School to deliver an Eco Heroes session, adapted in collaboration with the school to suit a SEN learning environment.

The workshop was delivered in partnership with AmcoGiffen, bringing together different sustainability perspectives to provide pupils with accessible, engaging insights into waste, environmental responsibility and the built environment. This collaborative approach helped demonstrate how organisations work together to embed sustainability across real‑world projects.

Thank you to Greenacre School for welcoming the team, to AmcoGiffen for their collaboration, and to Simon for representing Go Green and delivering a fantastic session.

At the end of May, our EarthTrack team travelled to the North West, supporting several of the UK’s major infrastructure projects. From delivering efficient muck away and waste removal services to supplying high-quality aggregates, it’s been great to see our work making a real impact on site.

Alongside this, the team also visited quarries behind the scenes, ensuring we are sourcing the right materials responsibly and sustainably to keep our customer's projects moving forward. Being involved in jobs of this scale demonstrates the capability and reliability of the EarthTrack division, and our role in supporting infrastructure delivery in a smart, sustainable way.

If your project needs practical, compliant support with sampling, classification, muck away or aggregate supply, our EarthTrack team can help: [email protected]

What does “good” waste management look like in Ireland?

It depends on your sector - but it always comes down to the same fundamentals: evidenced compliance, improved recycling performance, and data you can trust. Here’s what “good waste management” looks like in practice with Go Green Ireland.

Construction:
The right containers, smarter segregation, SWMP support and practical on-site guidance - backed by accurate reporting data.

Industrial and Distribution:
A consolidated, compliant approach with carbon tracking, segregation support and specialist equipment where needed - plus best-practice guidance as operations evolve.

Public Sector:
Cost efficient, stable services focused on cost consolidation, reduced carbon through local supply chains and streamlined administration - supporting social value objectives.

Across every sector, Go Green Ireland’s focus is simple: making waste management easier to manage and easier to prove - with nationwide ROI coverage and an online portal bringing compliance documents and recycling reporting into one place.

Last week marked International HR Day, so we took time out to sit down with our People Director, Phoebe Young, and talk about what really matters - culture, wellbeing, leadership, and long‑term development at Go Green.

From how we keep our culture strong as we grow, to the importance of listening, acting on feedback, and supporting people to be themselves at work, the conversation reinforced what sets our people approach apart.

We’ve shared the full conversation as a news piece on our website – click the link to read the questions we asked, and hear Phoebe’s perspective.

Because investing in people underpins long-term success. 💚

It’s International HR Day - Celebrating the people who put people first.

At Go Green, our HR team works hard to create an environment where every individual feels heard, supported, and able to perform at their best level, whether that be through wellbeing initiatives, development pathways, or simple everyday guidance that helps our people navigate a fast‑evolving workplace.

From developing forward-thinking training to strengthening communication and wellbeing, HR equips our people with the tools they need to succeed. Their work lays the foundations for a resilient workforce, both now and for the future.

A big thank you to our HR team, Phoebe, Bethany, and Kerry for the continued guidance and leadership you bring to every corner of the business.

Back in March, Go Green were delighted to welcome a work placement student from Hall Cross Academy, giving him the opportunity to experience a range of departments across the business, including Social Value, Finance, Health and Safety, Operations, Reception and Sales.

During his time with us, he got involved in day-to-day activities such as contributing to social media content, supporting our Red Nose Day event, assisting with Risk Assessments and listening in on customer calls, helping him gain a broader understanding of our business.

Swipe through our carousel to see some lovely feedback we received following the placement.

Supporting young people as they explore the world of work is something we are proud to be part of, and we wish him all the very best for the future.
