Lambs everywhere only mean one thing , always here to help with problem foxes .

Well yesterday I got a message from a urban guy however right on the edge of town, he's only got 6 ewes, 2 had lambs the night before and and he message saying foxes where grabbing the lambs back legs.
Last night I went down was literally last light.
Thought I better keep the noise down so decided .22 rimfire old style with glass scope and red light, best option due to locality.
Well on arrival fired up the nightpearl optics thermal spotter.
3 foxes already in the field took the first at 81m
2nd at 67m
3rd at 72m
Had a cup of coffee, then gave a few squeaks ollowed by another 1 come running in dropped at 51m
Then thinking all was quiet along came number 5 up the river bank dropped at 46m
5 full-size dog foxes all taken 1 shot each.
A brilliant night and thankfully today still 2 lambs healthy in field
