Postpartum products you see here are all something I’ve personally tried, loved and would recommend to any new first time mummy. No empty hype - just budget-friendly products that actually work and helped bring some comfort, health a life back into my postpartum life.

Proof that postpartum essentials don’t have to be expensive 💫

I named my dyslexia Daisy 🌼

Because somehow giving her a name made her feel less scary.

Daisy is the reason I reread the same text five times and still panic I’ve misunderstood it.
She’s the reason my brain feels overcrowded in supermarkets, group chats and busy mornings.
She makes me overwhelmed, anxious and frustrated over things that look “easy” to everybody else.

As an adult, it’s embarrassing sometimes.
People assume you grow out of it.
You don’t.

You just become better at masking it.
Better at laughing things off.
Better at pretending your brain isn’t running a marathon trying to process basic things.

But Daisy is also creative.
Emotional.
Imaginative.
She notices things other people don’t.

And I think I’m finally learning that loving myself means loving her too.

Even on the chaotic days. 🌼

my first week with Juniper 🤍

One week ago I decided to stop waiting for the “right time” to choose myself again.

As a first-time mum at 40, somewhere between sleepless nights, cold coffees and completely losing track of who I was outside of motherhood… I knew I needed to do something for me too.

And honestly? I’m so glad I started.

In my first week with Juniper I’ve:
• lost 10lbs
• lost 2 inches from my waist
• stopped comfort eating every emotion
• started feeling hopeful again
• gained the loveliest little community of women all cheering each other on

But the biggest thing isn’t even the weight.

It’s the feeling of stepping back onto the path.
Choosing my health.
Choosing energy.
Choosing confidence.
Choosing the version of me my daughter gets to grow up watching.

No extremes. No punishment. No “bounce back”.
Just slowly becoming myself again, one small choice at a time 🤍

Thank you .juniper

For a long time, my body was in survival mode.

5 years of infertility, IVF, hormones, heartbreak, hope… then postpartum, sleep deprivation, and trying to find myself again after becoming a mum at 40 🤍

Somewhere along the way, I stopped recognising myself.
Not just physically — mentally too.

This journey isn’t about becoming smaller.
It’s about becoming stronger. Healthier. More present. More confident.

I want energy for the long days.
I want to feel comfortable in my own skin again.
I want to be here for all the little moments, the milestones, and everything in between with my girl ✨

So this is me choosing me… without guilt.

Healthy mum, happy baby 🤍

Shoutout to .juniper for their support on this journey ⭐️

Second time leaving my baby with dad… and apparently I’m the one with separation anxiety 🥲🤍

Meanwhile:
📱 I called every 5 minutes
🍼 he packed enough supplies for a week-long expedition
☕️ Waitrose coffee + bacon sandwich became his entire personality
👶 baby survived, thrived, and got extra squishes later

No one really prepares you for how emotional the “little” milestones feel as a new mum. One minute you’re desperate for a coffee alone… the next you’re zooming into photos making sure your baby still looks happy 😭

Tiny wins though:
✨ baby girl had a lovely morning with dad
✨ I left the house without panic crying
✨ dad officially passed solo duty again

The overthinking is loud… but so is the love 🤍

How did your journey with your women’s health business begin? Like so many women, my journey into working with women’s health really started with having my children. I was newly pregnant, not that long out of art school with a thriving textile print business, and I read Gabrielle Palmer’s book ‘The Politics of Breastfeeding’ and I was suddenly switched onto the reality that my body was designed to birth and feed babies and that much of the women’s health journey in our culture was overly medicalised....
