A much-loved local restaurant is set to return with an exciting new chapter, as Deepdene prepares to reopen under the culinary direction of local chef Jason Newton.
Well known across Dorking and the surrounding villages, Jason brings decades of experience from respected local kitchens, alongside a bold new culinary vision shaped by his recent success running his own Caribbean food business on Deliveroo. Now, he’s taking that passion, flavour, and momentum into a permanent home — breathing new life into the Deepdene space.
The revived Deepdene will celebrate a South American and Caribbean fusion, blending the vibrant heat, spice, and soul of Caribbean cooking with the rich, bold flavours and techniques that originally defined Deepdene’s menu.
