Our current Timed Auction is a collection of works by the artists Ben and Stephanie (nee St Leger) Manchipp.

The following collaborative works are for the hugely popular Pippin in Playland magazine featuring children’s favourites such as the Wombles, Portland Bill, and Victor & Maria, amongst others.

This is just a small sample of the 100+ original comic illustrations available alongside more traditional watercolours in the auction which ends on Sunday 21st at 7pm. The catalogue is available now via the link in our bio and can be viewed in person by appointment.

From May 23 to June 2, Crow’s Auction Gallery are presenting a timed online auction offering an exceptional selection of photographic and written material from Stelios Galatopoulos’s personal archive. It features numerous rare original photos of Callas, both in her most legendary stage performances and in candid moments off-stage, alongside typed manuscripts, annotated chapters, proofs, personal notes, and layout drafts from his many published works. Galatopoulos’s seismic operatic knowledge is demonstrated by the remarkable written and visual legacy he has left in his wake – a veritable feast for opera aficionados.

Stelios Galatopoulos (1932–2022) was a respected Greek music critic (Cypriot-born) who was based in London. Initially qualifying as a British engineer after leaving Cyprus, Galatopoulos’s passion for opera soon took precedence. He became a notable music journalist, biographer, broadcaster and opera historian, best known for his close friendship with the iconic soprano Maria Callas (1923–1977).

For all the Camera obsessed out there do we have an auction for you! Live right now via the link in our bio is a single owner collection of analogue cameras and vintage equipment dating back to the 1930’s. Including many mint and unused in their original boxes.

Some of the highlights include a Mamiya C330 Professional F, a Yashica MAT-124G twin lens reflex camera, a Rolleiflex-Rolleicord Va, and a Yashica MG-1 35mm SLR.

It’s an extensive single owner collection of over 500 highly detailed 1:43 scale kit built and diecast model cars, mostly of noteworthy Ferraris and other historic cars. Produced by the leading scale model companies including AMR (Andre Marie Ruf), Provence Moulage, BBR Models, Tameo, Paul’s Model Art and Red Line to name a few.
