Feeling grateful for having such amazing, generous and understanding customers. As we head towards our much needed Christmas break we have worked hard to keep our customers warm and they have been so patient. It’s not easy being a small business in these times. Continuing to support local business is fundamental in keep the local community thriving and independent.

It’s that time of year. The sun shines and we feel this welcome, dare I say, Indian summer but there is a chill and the urge of a warm glowing fire is sizzling in our minds! Here I am 7pm inspecting logs and enjoying the feeling that these will keep our customers warm. Happy Autumn 🌿

We are not far away from coming out of lockdown, what a long few months it has been but it’s been an absolute joy speaking with our customers during what has felt to be the toughest of lockdowns. It’s been heart warming to hear that we have helped especially during those coldest weeks. We’ve had people say they just can’t get warm so need more logs (!) or that the glow of the fire brings some much needed joy into their lives and it’s not just about logs it’s about having that human connection whether by phone or in person (at a safe distance!) is something we all need . We are grateful to all who have come to us.

What a year!!!

Just a short time before Christmas Day arrives and we are reflecting on the past year. Thinking of our customers as we all have a very different Christmas this year. We want to thank all our customers for your continued support especially during this extraordinary time we are all going through.

This morning we received a heart warming message from one customer “Burning your logs on our wood burner has been a great comfort in these difficult times so thank you” ❤️
