🎄🎭 A Christmas Carol comes to Tanhurst Estate!

There’s something rather magical about enjoying live theatre in the Surrey Hills, and this autumn we’re delighted to welcome This Is My Theatre back to Tanhurst Estate Vineyard with their festive production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

Join us on Thursday 12th November 2026 for this heart-warming and magical one-act adaptation, with performances at 5pm and 7.30pm.

Follow Ebenezer Scrooge as he is visited by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future – with live music, Dickensian charm and plenty of festive spirit along the way. ✨

Come along with family or friends, enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Tanhurst Estate and make an evening of it. Snacks and drinks will be available to purchase before and after each performance.

If you've visited Tanhurst Estate Vineyard recently, you may have noticed our team carefully removing leaves from around the grape bunches. It might seem unusual, but this important vineyard practice, known as leaf stripping, plays a vital role in producing exceptional English wine.

By improving airflow, reducing the risk of disease and allowing more sunshine to reach the grapes, we're helping every bunch ripen beautifully in the unique climate of the Surrey Hills.

🍇 Wine Walk 2026 🍇

On Friday 27th June, we were delighted to welcome participants of the Wine Walk 2026 as they completed their fundraising journey for Guildford Philanthropy.

Starting at Greyfriars Vineyard, via Albury Vineyard, the walkers finished at Tanhurst Estate Vineyard, where a well-earned glass of sparkling was waiting for them! 🥂

Guildford Philanthropy has supported over 35 local charities across the Borough of Guildford over the past 12 years, helping tackle social inequality through grants that make a real difference in our community.

Congratulations to everyone who took part, and thank you for supporting such a worthwhile cause! 💚

We had a fantastic day on Sunday celebrating both Father's Day and our Festival of Wine Week! ☀️🍷

With the sun shining and temperatures soaring, we found the perfect spot in the shade and enjoyed an afternoon of soul, rhythm and blues from The Mike Wilson Trio, alongside delicious wood-fired pizzas from The Pizza Oven. Paired with our artisan wines, it was a combination that went down a treat.

It was wonderful to see so many people relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of our family-run vineyard, soaking up the music, great food and, of course, fantastic wine.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon!
